President Obama Outlines Climate Change Plan

Today President Obama outlined his new climate change plan at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. As part of his plan Obama will include new rules to restrict the "limitless dumping of carbon pollution by power plants. He will also promote renewable energy and energy efficiency.

In reference to current and future generations he said, "the question is not whether we need to act -- the overwhelming judgment of science, of chemistry and physics and millions of measurements, has put all that to rest." Obama will also direct the Environmental Protection Agency  to establish new carbon pollution limits for current and new power plants.
